Lomo saltado is a popular, traditional Peruvian dish, typically served with white rice. The dish originated as part of the "chifa" tradition, the Chinese cuisine of Peru, though its popularity has made it part of the culture. Like many others dishes in Peru, it is one of the favorite ways to mix cultures that influence Peruvian cuisine . As a Peruvian it is one of my favorite dishes and the best part is that I can prepare it here in the USA where I have lived since 2004. Ingredients
