Many couples' ideal honeymoon involves visiting Peru, namely the magical Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Because of its rich cultural heritage, beautiful natural scenery, and delicious food, Peru is a top choice for honeymooners. The old city streets, Incan ruins, and winding mountain roads of this stunning South American nation provide a wealth of adventure opportunities. Amidst the picturesque setting, there are many chances to refuel and enjoy relaxation. Listed below are some recommendations for your honeymoon in Peru. These will take you to Peru's most popular locations for the best experience. LimaLima is the largest city in South America and a prime example of a thriving metropolis, with a population of about 10 million. Despite the city's size, Miraflores, Barranco, and the Historic Center are the three most exciting areas of Lima. This capital and cultural hub of Peru is home to a wide variety of exciting attractions. Newlyweds can begin their exploration by visiting the city's charming Historic Center. Follow that up by visiting the Larco Museum, widely considered to be the finest art institution in all of South America. Excellent cuisine complements the museum's extensive collection of pre-Columbian items from all around Peru. And if you're feeling peckish, you can have a delicious meal in the museum's vibrantly hued garden. There are even beautiful Lima beaches to visit! The couple may spend quality time together here, free from the distractions of Lima's urban environment. The AndesThe pleasure of discovering the world's longest mountain range with your loved one may be very spectacular. Not to mention there is an abundance of world-famous attractions in the Andes for your honeymoon in Peru. These include the Inca fortress of Machu Picchu, the culturally rich Sacred Valley, and the ancient city of Cusco. Various exquisite retreats and romantic adventures await newlyweds among these snowy peaks and lush valleys. Here's one example: you may take a break from your travels and relax at a luxurious resort on the banks of the Urubamba River, treating yourself to spa treatments and enjoying the warm sunshine. You can stay in luxurious 5-star hotels, indulge in regional specialties and artisanal drinks, and enjoy all the historical charm Cusco is famous for. Alternatively, you may climb and camp along ancient Inca pathways on the Inca Trail, one of the world's most well-known treks. The Andes is a romantic but also adventurous paradise. Ziplining, white water rafting, llama trekking, mountain biking, standup paddleboarding, and horseback riding are just a few examples of activities for the adventuresome. There are Pachamama rites, visits to local artisan workshops, and folkloric performances for anyone interested in learning about the region's rich cultural heritage. Luxury Amazon CruiseYour exotic Peru honeymoon can be luxurious as well. A luxury cruise down the Amazon is a great way to relax and take in the sights. Newlyweds can enjoy refurbished luxury liners with spacious staterooms and state-of-the-art amenities. Additionally, they have Michelin-starred chefs and experienced captains who are familiar with every bend in the river. On a honeymoon in Peru, we recommend sipping some traditional Peruvian beverages while drifting down the Amazon on a magnificent river cruise and watching pink dolphins play in the water. Further, a luxury boat along the Amazon River is the ideal way to experience Peru's warm summer months. Lake TiticacaReach out and touch the clouds from the highest body of water that can be crossed by ship. Lake Titicaca is considered the "Birthplace of the Incas" and the spiritual core of Andean culture. Your stay at the lake in the sky will provide you with several possibilities to engage with the local community. Puno, the gateway city to Lake Titicaca, has several cultural celebrations throughout the year, including the month-long Fiesta de la Virgen de Candelaria. Furthermore, you may take a boat out on the lake from the city and enjoy the beautiful vistas and explore the many islands. Highlights include the floating, artificial Uros Islands, where you can learn about local traditions while exploring impressive homes, boats, and the islands themselves. And there's also Taquile Island, where you can hike to a viewpoint and enjoy the local plaza and market. You may check into a luxurious lakeside resort or a quaint country inn not far away. Take your special someone on a romantic getaway to the lakeside resort for a weekend of spa treatments, kayaking, and soaking in the scenery. Or meet a local family, have a hearty home-cooked supper, and see a nearby temple all in one place at the country inn. It's up to you to decide which option you prefer for your honeymoon in Peru. CuscoCusco is the cultural heart of Peru due to its ancient history and colonial architecture. Start your walking tour of Santo Domingo in the city's historic plaza, Plaza de Armas, where you may visit the famous churches of Santo Domingo and the Iglesia de la Compañía de Jesús. The nearby remains of Qurikancha, also known as The House of the Sun, are fascinating because their interior walls were previously gilded. Local street sellers offer everything along the route to the large San Pedro market. And we do mean everything – from popcorn and plantains to figurines of the indigenous goddess Pachamama. It's the perfect place to get some souvenirs to remind you of your wedding! Make sure you protect all your memories and learn how to store wedding memorabilia. After the shopping, you may stuff your face with local specialties like empanadas, salchipapas (fried sausage with potatoes), rocoto rellenos (stuffed and baked peppers), fresh fruits and vegetables. SacsayhuamanHopefully, you've planned your honeymoon stress-free Sadly, we are approaching the trip's end. Before climbing the short ascent to Sacsayhuaman, you may treat yourself to a dessert at the neighboring Choco Museo. The Inca built Sacsayhuaman in the 15th century. It is high above Cusco, making it a lovely place to see the sunset. In the evening, head out to one of Cusco's many bars to start your farewell to Peru in style. Final wordsYour honeymoon in Peru can be perfect. Peru is ideal for individuals who want to see the natural world, experience culture, great Cuisine and have passion for adventure. Peru has everything you need for an unforgettable honeymoon, from adventure travel to relaxation. We hope our guide has helped you plan your perfect romantic getaway. This blog is courtesy of,

La Costa Verde´s Beach Circuit “La Costa Verde, as it is known popularly, has about 20 beaches that cover the capital districts of Miraflores, Chorrillos, Barranco, San Miguel, Magdalena Del Mar and San Isidro. Lima is one of the few capitals in the world with access to sea and beautiful cliffs, which are an important tourist attraction. These beaches have activity all year, although it has a greater number of bathers during the summer months. In ”la costa verde” there are many recreational activities for tourist, such as: surfing, paragliding, soccer, volleyball, concert areas, restaurants, social clubs, as well as areas for fishing. The beaches of the South Asia Boulevard The Asia Boulevard is the most exclusive one of Lima. This complex has branches of the most important businesses in Lima, such as restaurants, bars, lounges, nightclubs, department stores, cinemas, supermarkets, hairdressers, shoe stores, jewelry, decoration and fashion, but the beaches have rough surf, so you need to be cautious. Here on the picture is Cantuarias Beach. Silencio Beach A postcard cove. This beach has thick white sand, and it’s surrounded by restaurants and nightclubs. It’s located a little over half an hour away from the capital. Señoritas Beach It’s similar to El Silencio beach. This beach has a semicircular coast with a calm sea and thick white sand. Caballeros Beach It’s ideal for surfers! The surfer community knows it as Pico Alto. It is located at Km 40 of the Highway called Panamericana Sur. Pulpos Beach This beach is modern and its residences fill the seascape with color. The beach is curved and long and its sea is rough. It is at Km 40 of the Panamericana Sur Punta Hermosa Beach This beach is traditional, and has several pleasant beaches, with mostly soft waves. Punta Rocas stands out with its beaches being ideal for surfers. On this beach a surfing championship takes place annually and usually ends in a youth music concert. San Bartolo Beach It's the biggest beach in the south of Lima. It's beaches are perfect to practice sports, such as: fishing, surfboarding and sea kayaking. On December 8th, the Immaculate Conception festival is celebrated here. It is located at Km 51 of Panamericana Sur Here a picture of the sunset on this beach. Santa Maria Beach It is an exclusive family beach. It has luxurious residences and modern apartments. There are beaches like El Cangrejito and Embajadores, nice and small quiet beaches shaped like a half moon. You can also find here the Yacht Club and the Club La Esmeralda. Northern Beaches Ancon Beach Although, we must recognize that the most famous beaches of Lima are undoubtedly in south of city, we can not fail to mention one of the most emblematic beaches of Lima;Ancon, which has historical value and tourist potential. Few decades ago this beautiful beach was considered one of the most exclusive in South America. One can not fail to mention its historical value for all Peruvians, because it was where the famous treaty of Ancón was signed, which put end to the bloody war of the nineteenth century between Chile, Peru and Bolivia. If we go further back, we see that in pre-Columbian times different cultures have converged here, one of the most outstanding is the Chancay culture. So when you visit Ancón you must visit its museum. This area has several beaches with a calm sea as well as some with many waves. Santa Rosa Beach This is the most exclusive beach in Northern Lima. It has beautiful summer residences and restaurants that are full during summer season; the beaches are generally calm. Here are some of the places in Ica that you must visit. Nazca Lines These ancient geoglyphs are found in the Nazca Desert between the Nazca and Palpa populations, in Ica. These lines were traced by the Nazca culture; they form various shapes that can be as simple as lines and complex as zoomorphic, phytomorphic and geometric figures made on the land surface. In 1994, the Unesco Committee declared these lines as World Heritage. This colossal pre-hispanic art piece will bedazzle you. Tacama Estate It’s a beautiful historic place! The estate has restaurants, vines, and a wine factory; tourists describe the visit to this place as a lovely experience. For those who travel with kids, it is recommendable to spend the day in this place because there are games and entertainment shows for the little ones. The Ica Dunes There isn’t a more deserted landscape than the Ica Dunes. Dunes are sand mounds that move with the wind; they can be found in any sandy coasts, river shores, lakes or seas. The magic of these dunes is found on their constantly changing shapes and sizes, because of that, we can see dunes of less than 3 ft. or more than 330 ft. These dunes are also the perfect place to practice sports such as sand boarding, sand skiing or a buggy trip through the Huacachina Dunes. Huacachina Lagoon In the middle of the dunes, the Huacachina Oasis emerges; it originates around the lagoon of the same name. This natural lagoon of emerald colored water originated due to the emergence of underground streams. There is an abundant amount of vegetation made of palm trees, Huarango and Eucalyptus (introduced species) that allow migratory birds to rest. For all of this, Huacachina is one of the most colorful and beautiful places on the Peruvian coast. Rides through the lagoon are offered; it has wide lanes to wander and has a variety of restaurants in the surroundings. Canyon of the Lost The canyon is located 2 hours away from Ocucaje’s square. It is a short walk that goes between lakes, clay pyramids, and fossil deserts. This canyon is an impressive geological formation, created by the patient water flow through ravines seeking the ocean for millions of years. This place became an attraction for both scientists and tourists from all around the world. The beauty of its colors and the charm of the Canyon of the Lost, make this place a natural jewel. Tambo Colorado Tambo Colorado, also known as Pucallacta or Pucahuasi. Is an old Inca settlement located in the Pisco River valley. This beautiful adobe building is considered the best Inca urban-administrative complex in Perú. Its name is a mixture of words: the Quechua word "Tampu" means resting place, and the word in Spanish "Colorado" was chosen because of the red, white and yellow paint used to decorate its walls. We also recommend visiting The Site Museum where archaeological pieces found in the area are shown. The dish originated as part of the "chifa" tradition, the Chinese cuisine of Peru, though its popularity has made it part of the culture. Like many others dishes in Peru, it is one of the favorite ways to mix cultures that influence Peruvian cuisine . As a Peruvian it is one of my favorite dishes and the best part is that I can prepare it here in the USA where I have lived since 2004. Ingredients

Mancora is a truly romantic destination for honeymooners with its warm tropical ocean waters, and exquisite ocean sunsets. Excellent to rest and spark your romance, before starting the return home. Courtesy of Promperu If you are the type of person that enjoys getting to know the citizens from the place you are visiting, these are some tips to help you to get to know better the culture of the country you are visiting.
Tip #1 Eat in places that aren’t for tourists, you should go to a restaurant out of malls and even far from touristic places. Walk a little to get away from these places to look for restaurants in which you see the most locals eating. Tip #2 Before traveling to a country you want to visit, would be good for you to read about its culture, customs, what are people like there, or some idioms used when talking in a daily basis. This information will help you to understand their behavior so you can act according to their culture. Tip #3 Speak the country’s language or at least try it. If a language seems weird, take with you a paper with some words or basic phrases that might be useful for you to have a better time there. Something that can help you is even talk to some people and ask the meaning of some words. Letting them know that you are interested in their culture may open doors to many opportunities. Tip #4 Ask. The best way to learn about something you don’t know is asking, so anytime you have the chance, talk to the locals and ask them. So you can comprehend better the people you speak with. It would also be good to know a little bit about the religion, from where they precede (the countryside or the city), who their parents were, maybe what’s their job or anything that can give you a reference of your surroundings. Tip #5 Don’t judge. Remember that you are looking forward to learn, but it won’t be possible if you set limits. Don’t qualify customs as good or bad; just accept it as something different.
