If you want to look beautiful in your wedding day, you have to take care of the beauty of the dress, but most importantly is that the dress fits you very well. Your wedding dress should enhance your beauty and be according to your complexion and your personality. Your ideal wedding dress has to feel beautiful and unique. There are a lot of weddings attires from princess dresses to trouser suits. There are also combinations with hats, veils, feathers, headdresses, and shoes, and each element adds up. To help you to chose correctly, we give you some tips: Neckline The goal is to create a hourglass figure. When your body is shaped as pear or diamond, you need to enhance your shoulders with necklines like buttonhole collars also known as boat neck, drop shoulders and asymmetric lines. These kind of necklines are good for brides with a small breast too. The Queen Anne neckline enhances shoulders too, but requires a long neck and stylized face. Bodies shaped as rectangle have to enhance both the shoulders and the lower body to create the hourglass figure. In the other hand, inverted triangle bodies should use V necklines; it can stylize the upper body and it is fine for big brides and for brides with short or wide neck. A round neckline is good for this as well, especially if the bride has a big bust. Additionally, there is the heart neckline which should be worn with a wide skirt. Skirt In same way, skirts must help creating an hourglass figure as well. Brides with hourglass bodies can wear skirts with the following cuts: mermaid, trumpet or straight, but brides with pear and diamond bodies should wear a straight or A cut that have to be loose on hips. Brides with triangle and inverted rectangle shaped bodies should wear A cuts or pleated skirts to delineate their waist and give volume to their hips. Take these tips and look radiant in your wedding day.! Your wedding is composed of many things, and flowers are an important ingredient. They can create a warm, beautiful and spectacular environment. In order to make the right selection pay attention to these tips: ● Language of flowers, every flower can say a different thing. Start your search by taking a moment to look through the different meanings behind flower varieties. For example gladiolus symbolize strength and moral integrity. Calla Lillies symbolize magnificence and beauty, Chrysanthemum symbolizes fidelity, optimism, joy and long life. A red chrysanthemum conveys love; a white chrysanthemum symbolizes truth and loyal love while a yellow chrysanthemum symbolizes slighted love, Daffodil symbolizes regard and chivalry. It is indicative of rebirth, new beginnings and eternal life, Daisy symbolizes innocence and purity, Gardenia symbolizes purity and sweetness. They indicate secret love. ● Size, One of the most important considerations in choosing a bouquet is getting the size right. A small bouquet is ideal for a pleasant sentiment while a large bouquet expresses a explosion of sentiments, in an exuberant manner. It is important to know, modern bouquets tend to be a bit smaller and less packed, while, traditional weddings will call for a larger, more sumptuous bouquet. A larger dress will probably look better with a larger bouquet as well, but it also depends on the style of the dress, just like the style of the bouquet. ● Shape is another thing worth considering when choosing a bouquet. Popular shapes are round, symmetrical designs, long crescent designs, or cascading designs. Crescent designs have longer pieces that shoot out from one side as opposed to the other, while cascading designs have long pieces that hang down to the bottom of the bouquet. ● Color is another important factor in choosing a flower arrangement, and is heavily dependent on the sentiment you want to convey. Color choice and type of flower go hand in hand with the purpose for your bouquet, so give each equal consideration. ● Some colors meanings are: ○ Red is the color of energy, passion, action, ambition and determination. ○ Orange is the color of social communication and optimism. ○ Yellow is the color of the mind and the intellect. It is optimistic and cheerful. ○ Green is the color of balance, growth, and self-reliance. ○ Turquoise is communication and clarity of mind. ○ Purple is the color of the imagination. It can be creative and individual. ○ Pink is unconditional love and nurturing. ○ Magenta is a color of universal harmony and emotional balance. It is spiritual yet practical, encouraging common sense and a balanced outlook on life. ○ White is color at its most complete and pure, the color of perfection. The color meaning of white is purity, innocence, wholeness and completion. ● Price may also be a consideration in the selection of the size of the perfect bouquet, although it's also important to consider the destination. Therefore, don't choose something too large and difficult to transport. I hope this information will be helpful for you! The new rule is that you now must remove all electronics bigger than a cell phone (more than 4 inches by 6 inches) from your baggage and place them in their own bin for X-ray screening. This includes: · Tablets · E-readers · Handheld game consoles · DVD players · Cameras and battery-powered accessories · Video projectors Laptops still need to be removed from your bag, too. TSA may also ask you to remove any food or powders from your carry-on to help with the bag check process, so you and your clients should be ready to do so just in case they ask. VAX pro tip: if you're bringing M&Ms, those should definitely be removed since TSA told our VAX insider that they'll be flagged for inspection every time. The new screening procedures were tested on 10 select airports before being rolled out nationwide, so you and your clients may have already encountered them if you’ve traveled through these airports: · Boise Airport (BOI) · Colorado Springs Airport (COS) · Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) · Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) · Logan International Airport (BOS) · Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) · Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport (LBB) · Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) · McCarran International Airport (LAS) · Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) And now everyone gets to enjoy it! Except for those lucky TSA Pre Check people – this new rule doesn’t apply to them. This article was published by Vax Vacation Access on my travel agent portal and I though is important to share it here in my blog too. TSA Pre Check is a program that gives travelers leaving from the U.S. access to an expedited security screening program at the airport. U.S. citizens and lawful permanent U.S. residents can apply for the program and go through a screening process in order to become a “trusted traveler.” Perks of TSA Pre Check Anything to make your airport experience better is worth it, right? And probably one of the least enjoyable parts of air travel is the security process. TSA Pre Check pretty much eliminates that less-than-desirable part by giving trusted travelers these perks:
The Pre Check ProcessIt’s really not that bad – just three steps.
After an applicant is approved as a trusted traveler with TSA, they’ll get a Known Traveler Number (KTN) in the mail within two to three weeks. Resource: Article courtesy of Vax Vacation Access Whenever I heard that someone was going to Las Vegas what came to my mind was the Casinos, the gambling and since I am not fan of that, I really thought that Las Vegas was not for me. I got the opportunity to visit Las Vegas for training purpose and that has changed my mind completely about Las Vegas. If you think like I was doing, you might be losing the opportunity to visit an iconic place that has so much to offer when you are celebrating something special in your family. Is a wonderful destination for weddings, graduations, bachelorette parties, anniversaries, honeymoons, family reunions and more! If I would choose a place to celebrate an anniversary or do my Vow Renewal I would definitely go by The Westin Lake Resort, is located at Lake Las Vegas, a secluded and quiet neighborhood of Las Vegas, is so romantic at night in their fireplace living area, the view of the lake, the moon, what else you need, right? If you want to do something really different, what a about a helicopter ride to the Valley of Fire and do your Vow Renewal there with just your love ones. Finish your day with a flight over Las Vegas strip! Courtesy of LV Wedding Connection Another property that captivated me was The Hilton Lake Las Vegas, in the same neighborhood than the Westin. Is a big property that has a small beach area near a rocks waterfall where you can have an intimate Vow Renewal. The property is so relaxing, with big gardens and pool area and the wonderful view of the Lake. In the same area you will find Reflections Bay Lake Las Vegas, a very small property but with a charming appeal for special celebrations, they also have a great view of the lake and very nice reception areas indoor and outdoor.

Of all the human relations, there is no one that is more complicated than marriage, nevertheless it is one of the most important relationships since it is the base of the family, and family is the base of society. That’s why there has been so many things written about this kind of relationship, which should be the most intimate of all. True intimacy isn’t sex-based, nor is it based in living with your partner; true affinity is related with a relationship that makes you feel safe and loved. The way to build an intimate relationship is through an adequate communication. Here are some tips to improve the communication between you and your partner: Tip # 1 Be empathic: Do this when you speak, specifically when your partner is going through difficult times; you must try to understand his or her feelings. Tip # 2 Be sincere: To communicate your most profound feelings may be difficult; maybe you are not used to do it because your family never encouraged you to express your sadness, anger, etc. It is normal for it to be difficult and for you to tend to mask your feelings; maybe you use puns, satire, and indifference or simply silence to let out your feelings. Despite all of that, the best way to do it is to say it without any attempt to cover them, so they can be clearly understood by your partner Tip # 3 Be lucid: What you say must accord with everything you do. This includes the voice tone, gestures and emotions you put in what you say. Remember that your partner is the person that knows you better, so you can´t say things that isn’t coherent with your actions. When there is no parallel, your partner might not trust you. Tip # 4 Be humble: Love makes petitions, not instructions or demands because when you do it, you take the role of a parent. When you tell your mate, “you must,” you put yourself in some kind of higher status than your partner’s; this might break up the relationship. For an intimate relationship, you need to know each other’s desires, but these petitions should be made with humility and frankness; there is no place for demands, sneers or concealments. Tip # 5 Encourage: Part of your role as a partner is to help your partner to develop. Comfort words can push your mate’s potential. His or her potential is waiting for your endorsing words to be expressed to be able to reach all its capacity. According to Dr. Chapman (1995) "To encourage is necessary to sympathize and see the world from the perspective of your partner; we must first know what is most important for our partner." Tip # 6 Listening more than solving: When your partner tells you he or she has a problem, you might think that you have the solution, but remember that he or she is truly asking for is to be listened, he doesn’t want you to give him the solution. Maybe many of you are trained to analyze problems and look for solutions, but the truth is that marriage is a relationship, not a project to complete or a problem to be solved. Tip # 7 Pay attention: It is true that not all of our conversations during the day are important, but there must be a time where you give all you attention to your spouse; this means to look at him/her at the eyes while he/she is talking, to leave any other activity we might be doing behind to concentrate in him/her, and to read his/her body language because this will indicate us the emotional state of the person and that way we will know to act in an assertive manner. Finally, ask to clarify any doubts, have presented that you make questions not to badger, but to truly understand your partner’s feelings and desires. Tip # 8 Show kindness: When we communicate it’s not only about telling it is important the way we say it too. Let's remember that love is kindness and if we want to communicate love verbally, we should use kind words. The exact same phase might have two different meanings depending in the way we say it. Reference Gary Chapman (1995), The Five Languages of Love, Editorial Unilit Group P&A, Keys to Effective Leadership Communication Sex is one of the best ways to express our love, but it is not the only way. Each person has a "language of love," a way in which they need to be treated to feel loved, and often it is the way we treat our loved one. I imagine wives might be saying “my husband's language is sex,” and even many men make the mistake of believing that physical contact is their main language of love because they intensely desire sex. This urge is a physical desire provoqued by sperm overproduction, but it does not necessarily cover their emotional need to feel loved.. The 5 languages of love As described by Gary Chapman in his book "The Five Languages of Love," while each human is unique and expresses differently, studies and experience show that there are 5 ways to feel loved. Although we can enjoy all of them, there is one that makes us feel loved in a special way. When this language is negatively used it hurts us deeper than any other thing. The 5 languages of love are: Language of Love # 1: Affirmation Words People who have this language of love need to hear words of affection and encouragement. When they receive any criticism or insult it hurts them intensely. Language of Love # 2: Quality Time People who have this language of love need time dedicated to them, share activities, and even empathic conversations are part of this language, so they feel hurt when they do not have ALL the attention, or do not devote them an exclusive time. Language of Love # 3: Receiving gifts People who have this language of love need to receive gifts, it doesn’t matter how expensive or elaborate these gifts are; it's just receiving a gift, an implicit form to say "I was thinking of you." That's why when they do not receive a gift on important dates, they feel hurt. Keep in mind that physical presence at critical moment is the most powerful gift we can give them. Language of Love # 4: Acts of Service People who have this language of love, need to feel assisted, served and even in some cases they need to feel protected. That’s why letting them do housework, taking care children, and even work activities alone can be a great offense for them. Language of Love # 5: Physical Touch People who have this language of love need others to hold their hands, kiss them, hug them and have sex with them to feel loved by their partner. However, a push, a slap, or even being touched in a way that displeases them, is unbearable and wounds them deeply. Now that you know the 5 languages of love it is necessary that you do 2 things: the first one is to identify your own language and the second one is to identify your spouse´s language. Ways to find your language of love 1. The questions you can ask yourself to discover your main language of love are: which actions make you feel loved the most by your partner? What do I crave for above anything else? If the answers to these questions do not immediately come to your mind, you could ask yourself from the negative side: what is it that my partner does or says that hurt me deeply? 2. You can also look back and analyze what we have asked the most from our partner. You may even have asked as scolding or demands. 3. How do you express love for your partner? You will most likely do for him or her what you value him or her do for you. That is to say that you use your own language of love to show love. Now that you know your language of love, share it with your husband or wife because the more loved you feel, you can make your spouse feel loved, too. Our spouse's love language To find the primal love language of your partner, you follow the same steps: 1. Questions you can ask yourself to discover her/his main love language: what do I do that makes my spouse happier? You can complement these questions from the negative side: what do I do or say that hurts my spouse deeply or makes him/her angry? 2. You can also look back and see what he/she has asked you the most, he/she may even have asked for it as scolding or demands. 3. How does he/she express love to me? Chances are that he/she is doing for you what he/she values doing for himself or herself. Now you know a little more about your spouse's love language, share it and talk about it so you can be sure. When your spouse feels more beloved, he/she will be more capable to make yourself feel loved. Remember that petitions give way to love, but demands stop the flow of it. With this information, and a good couple conversation, you can make your next anniversary an unforgettable day for both. Reference Gary Chapman (1995), The Five Languages of Love, Editorial Unilit Highly recommend this hotel for pool lovers of all ages, is fantastic for celebrating milestones in the family like Graduations, Quinceañeras, Weddings, Honeymoons, etc. There is something for every age and the hotel is so big that you do not have the feeling on being in a crowded place. The food at the concert in the Moon Palace Arena was awesome, not a fan of La Gondola Italian restaurant, their food was average. I was gladly surprise with Wi-Fi every where!! I was able to talk with my family and show them the hotel while I was walking from my room toward the beach and from the beach itself also! The service is already included with your package. I arrived to Cancun airport on May 20th, 2016 and was received by Elite Transfer ( company that works only with Palace Resorts), they offered me a bottle of water or soda that was great since it was a hot and humid day. My hotel Moon Palace was only 10 minutes from the airport and my room was in the Sunrise section of the hotel, room 4044 that is garden view but even with that I had an amazing view of the ocean. My room had marble floors, indoor Jacuzzi, balcony with sitting chairs and a table. The bathroom had a great shower, make up mirror that light up, hair dryer and flat iron to fix my hair. My minibar was fully stocked with several kinds of beers like Corona, Budweiser, and different sodas like Pepsi, Coca Cola, Seven Up, Canada Dry, Sparkling water, orange juice and apple juice. The bar had a James king whiskey, Bacardi Rum, Jose Cuervo Special Tequila, and Vodka. This room was a concierge category located in the Toronja building. The main attraction of this hotel for me is their pools, many of them so everybody can have their own space. Also they have a section that is called the Moon Palace Arena where they have their concerts with famous singers. I saw the concert of Starship and Alphaville that was awesome! You can buy your tickets online in webs like Ticket Masters. The hotel has a buffet restaurant that is named Bugambilias that offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also have specialty restaurants like Fragata that offer sea food, Italian at La Gondola, Pan Asian in the Sunrise section, but they have several other options in the Nizuc and Grand section like Peruvian , Brazilian, Mexican restaurants This hotel is the biggest all -inclusive in the Caribbean and each section is different from the other one. The Grand section is more sophisticated and elegant, with the feeling of being the adults only section. Nizuc has also great pools and bars around them, have South American restaurants. Seems to be more for families with young kids. Moon Palace is great for multi-generational travelers; there is a big playground for kids, teenagers lounge, bars and disco for adults, flow rider and more! My biggest impression was the service, everybody doing their best to meet your needs; room service is exceptional, they are on time with your request. I will always remember Chefs Reyes and Monforte from La Gondola for their special attention and service for me and my friends, our server Elizabeth, and in general all of them. Esmeralda from room service, the room cleaning team, our drivers, the guys on the pools and bars make our stay unforgettable!! Room Tip: Choose rooms in the second level so you can have view of the beach, La Toronja building is quiet and close to the main pool area. |
